Good Tunes

  • Hit Rewind – for all you pop junkies, this playlist will take you back to the “Holla-back girl” days.

Snacks

Snacks are essential to keep you going during those long hours. During a quick gas break, grab your favorite candy bar or bag of chips to munch on.

Whether you have a sweet tooth or crave something salty, convenience stores have what you need.

Something Cozy

When the AC is blasting, it’s always nice to cozy up in a sweater or next to a pillow. Keeping some fuzzy socks, favorite blanket or sweatshirt in the car can be a game changer, especially for those early mornings or late nights.

We all can agree car seats aren’t always the most comfortable, especially during extended periods of time but a soft blanket or pillow can make your ride comfy and cozy.

All the Liquid Necessities

It’s important to keep those vocal chords hydrated to hit the high notes. A bottle of water or sports drink is the perfect beverage to keep you cool and feeling good the whole way. Even a small cup of coffee can come in handy as an afternoon pick-me-up.

Be careful, you may have to make more pit stops than expected if you drink too fast!

Safety

Before the car starts, safety is the number one priority. Making sure everyone is in a seatbelt, your mirrors are in check and being alert comes before anything. Give your co-pilot the DJ and navigation job to avoid any distractions while driving, even a rotate drivers so no one gets tired.

Remember to keep your hands on the wheel, and eyes on the road.
